Here is why.
If your Brown or Dark Brown arrived under the Couture name, this page is the explanation. Couture was our own name for those two shades on the Korean shelf, and bottles shipped before the changeover carry it; all three shades now ship under the GDS name. Below are the ingredient declarations printed on each pack, set out in full so you can read exactly what is in the bottle you are holding.
The browns used to carry another name.
Brown and Dark Brown used to ship under our own Korean-market name, Couture, on a taller bottle of their own. Black never did — it carried the GDS name wherever it was sold. All three shades now ship under the GDS name, on the same bottle, so the two columns below are a before and an after rather than two shelves.
Black carried the GDS name all along. Only the browns ever went by a second name, which is the only reason two brands appear here at all.

G-Flow developed this shampoo and makes it in Korea. GDS is our brand. For years the right to sell it outside Korea sat with an outside retailer, shopgdshair.com — which is where you probably bought it before.
We have taken those sales rights back. That agreement has ended, and the shampoo is now sold directly by its maker, here at Dhaliora. That was a commercial change and nothing more — not a recall, not a safety problem. Separately, and later, Brown and Dark Brown were renewed to a Non-PPD formula; that renewal is set out below.
What changed on the outside is the label. Bottles shipped before the changeover carry our Couture name on the browns rather than the export name you're used to; all three shades now carry the GDS name. The label is still printed in Korean, because these are the Korean-market bottles, exactly as we make them.
Nothing to spot the difference in.
Every ingredient on the bottle sold under the old name, set against every ingredient on the one we'll send, in the order they're declared. Declarations are regulated in Korea and can't be reworded at will — which is what makes this worth checking rather than just reading.

What you're probably wondering.
Is this really the same product? +–
Yes — same maker, same factory. What has changed is the name on the browns' label, the packaging, and, for Brown and Dark Brown, a renewal of the formula to Non-PPD. Black is still on the previous formula and ships as a 250ml pack, while the renewed browns are 300ml. The ingredient lists above are the declarations printed on each pack, so you can read for yourself what is in the bottle you have. While previous stock lasts an order can arrive in either the previous or the new packaging, and we are not able to take requests for one or the other.
Why isn't it sold on the old GDS store any more? +–
GDS is our brand — we developed the shampoo and make it in Korea. The old store, shopgdshair.com, was an outside retailer that held the right to sell it abroad. We have taken those rights back, so it is now sold directly by its maker, here.
Why do the browns say Couture? +–
Couture was our own name for those two shades on the Korean shelf, and bottles shipped before the changeover carry it. Brown and Dark Brown now ship under the GDS name, on the same bottle as Black. So a Couture label simply means your bottle left us before that change.
Why is the label in Korean? +–
These are the Korean-market bottles. That's also why every ingredient is set out in English above — so you can read exactly what's in the one you're holding.

Because they do — the two shades share a formula and differ in how much of each dye component goes in. A declaration names what's in the bottle, not how much, so the ratio doesn't appear. Same ingredients, different mix, different result on your hair.
I still have a bottle from before. Can I use both? +–
You can, but read the ingredient list on each bottle first, because the browns have been renewed: the previous browns were built on p-phenylenediamine (PPD) and the renewed ones on toluene-2,5-diamine, a close relative that cross-reacts in people who are sensitised to PPD. Black is still on the previous formula. Patch test 48 hours before every use, and patch test again when you move from a previous bottle to a renewed one.
