What it is — Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (INCI: Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) is a vitamin-B3-derived molecule and a precursor the body can use to make NAD+. In cosmetics it is used as an antioxidant-type active.

What it does — It is included in antioxidant and age-support formulas to help defend against everyday oxidative stress. As with NAD+, topical cosmetic evidence is still developing, so it is best treated as a supporting ingredient rather than a proven active.
